Sul sul! I’m Shelli, a Big Happy Family, Bookworm, Perfectionist, Foodie who enjoys playing The Sims 4 (TS4).
As I’ve enjoyed playing the game, researching Sims lore, and interacting with other “Simmers,” the stories of these worlds and their Sims began to form in my mind. When I build, I enjoy creating backstories for the lots and have found insights from reading the object descriptions and watching the trailers. I’ve also been intrigued by the “Townies” and Sims used in the promotional trailers, admittedly spending far too much time discovering their stories. I really enjoy researching and writing backstories—and, most of all, world building.
I credit my love of world building to my sixth-grade teacher who had us create our own world, from a salt-dough map to climate, politics, and other things I’ve long-since forgotten. I’ve been creating my own worlds and stories and have a few novels written, though unpublished.
